Reports indicate that the heavy rain experienced in certain areas of the city on Thursday led to the damage of these properties, particularly in locations like Jericho and Akala Expressway.

In Jericho, electric poles, wires, and cables bore the brunt of the storm’s impact. Meanwhile, at Akala Expressway, a substantial billboard was among the casualties of the adverse weather conditions.

Earlier incidents along the University of Ibadan-Ojoo Road saw passengers and commuters stranded due to the collapse of a large billboard at the Ajibode junction.
