IPOB Warns Governor Soludo Against Playing Politics With Security, Accuses Him Of Desperation For Second Term

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) issued a cautionary statement to Governor Charles Soludo, urging him to refrain from politicizing security matters in Anambra State. In the statement, IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, expressed concern over the activities of Fulani terrorists, particularly in areas within Dunukofia, Awka North, South, Orumba North, and South Local Government Areas of Anambra State. The group called on residents to rise up against all forms of insecurity in the state.

IPOB warned against allowing Arthur Eze to endanger the lives of Anambra residents for his personal economic interests, cautioning Governor Soludo against playing politics with the security of the people. The group emphasized that political ambitions should not be pursued at the expense of the safety and well-being of Anambra residents.

Furthermore, IPOB reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the Southeast region from the menace of Fulani herdsmen, emphasizing the role of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) in countering threats to Biafra land. The group warned against any unwarranted attacks on ESN by security forces and vowed to retaliate if provoked.

The statement reflects IPOB’s stance on security issues in Anambra State and underscores its determination to protect the interests of Biafrans in the face of perceived threats.
