JUST IN: Many Relieved Of Appointment As Obaseki Carries Out Massive Sack In Edo (DETAILS)

Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has fired over 200 aides, including commissioners.

According to Crusoe Osagie, Special Adviser, Media Projects to the Governor, the termination of appointments, which took effect immediately, affected all Special Assistants (SAs) and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs).

During the weekly executive council meeting on Wednesday, the state cabinet was dissolved.

The governor, on the other hand, thanked members of the council for their service to the government and people of the state.
