According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian actress Doris Ogala was reportedly taken into custody following an online confrontation involving allegations against Lagos-based Pastor Chris Okafor.

The arrest reportedly occurred on Saturday, December 20, 2025, during a live-streamed conversation between Ogala and an online personality. During the broadcast, the actress confirmed that police officers were present in her residence. She was also heard admonishing a woman identified as Charity for allowing visitors into the home despite previous instructions.

The interviewer reportedly asked Ogala whether the police had a warrant and urged her to keep her phone active throughout the encounter. Shortly afterward, comedian and former Big Brother Naija contestant Dee One announced via Instagram that Ogala had been arrested, noting that she would face questions in court over the incident.

The controversy stems from a social media post in which Ogala shared an image allegedly showing Pastor Okafor in a private setting, accusing him of deceit and claiming to have video evidence supporting her allegations. The accusations drew further attention following the pastor’s recent marriage to a woman named Pearl.

Ogala’s posts on social media alleged betrayal, emotional manipulation, and a broken promise of marriage after a long-term relationship she claimed began in 2017. She further stated that she ended a previous marriage at the pastor’s request, only to experience distress when the relationship abruptly ended. Over several days, the actress had shared emotional videos online detailing the personal impact of the situation.
