Odumeje Reacts To Reports That He Declared He Would Die Soon

Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, an Anambra-based fiery cleric, has dismissed the rumour, claiming that he has declared that he will die soon.

According to Amaka Okoye, the cleric’s aide, the prophet did not make such a statement.

Several media outlets reported that Odumeje said during Sunday service at the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry in Onitsha that he had completed his earthly assignments and it was time to go.

According to the reports, the death announcement may be related to the recent demolition of a portion of his church by the State Government.

According to reports, while some members of the congregation were taken aback by the news, others wept, saying they didn’t want him to leave them so soon.

However, speaking over the phone, Okoye denied the news, claiming that the prophet never instructed his son, David, to take care of his house after his death.

She said, “It is not true (that prophet Odumeje said during Church service last Sunday that he will die soon).

“You know that some people when they want to destroy someone’s image, they will write something with your name and put it in a YouTube and say that you said it.

“The prophet never instructed his son, David to take care of his house and that he will die soon.”
