“We’ve significantly ramped up safety surveillance to ensure the airspace remains secure,” Najomo stated, attributing the success to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda and the aviation minister’s focused five-point plan.
As part of their renewed efforts, the NCAA has stepped up enforcement, including recent sanctions against airlines failing to meet refund obligations. “We’ll continue to ensure airlines comply with regulations, and 2025 promises even greater progress,” Najomo added.
Addressing criticisms of his leadership, Najomo assured that such distractions would not interfere with his duties. “I remain focused on my work,” he asserted.
