The incident occurred as TV journalist Rawya Kassem was delivering her report, with Muhammad standing on a platform behind her. The robot was captured on camera appearing to make inappropriate contact with Kassem before she turned around, signaling for it to stop, and continued with her report.
The robot, resembling a man wearing a long gown beneath a red and white keffiyeh, drew attention for the wrong reasons due to this behavior, raising questions about its programming and appropriateness in public settings.
