Acting Rector, Dr. Hauwa Muhammad, during the institution’s 41st matriculation ceremony held over the weekend.

The ceremony, which took place in Nasarawa Local Government Area, saw the participation of approximately 15,000 newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session. These students are enrolled in National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), and Part-Time programmes.

Dr. Muhammad took the opportunity to warn the incoming students against engaging in academic dishonesty, stressing the serious consequences faced by the expelled students.

“Let the fate of those expelled serve as a lesson. This institution has a zero-tolerance policy for academic dishonesty,” she emphasized.

She also urged students to refrain from social vices such as drug abuse, indecent dressing, and cultism, while encouraging peaceful coexistence on campus.
