Banditry Crushed: Sani Black And Kachalla Makore’s Reign Ends In Fiery Ambush, Justice Served In Zamfara!

In a significant victory against banditry in Zamfara State, two notorious bandit leaders, Sani Black and Kachalla Makore, have been confirmed dead alongside 23 of their key followers. This operation was executed by the Zamfara State Community Protection Guards (CPG) in collaboration with Nigerian military forces.

The Senior Special Adviser to the Zamfara State Governor on Media and Communications, Alhaji Mustapha Jafaru Kaura, announced the successful operations, revealing that Sani Black was killed on Sunday in Yar-Tasha village, while Kachalla Makore was taken down on Tuesday in Kunkeli village, both located within the Maru Local Government Area.

Kaura hailed the deaths of these bandit leaders as a crucial milestone in the ongoing battle against banditry, urging security forces to sustain their momentum until all threats posed by bandits are eliminated. He reaffirmed the state government’s steadfast commitment to combating banditry and highlighted the essential role of community cooperation in providing intelligence to security agencies.

Residents were called upon to assist law enforcement by sharing any information that could lead to the capture or neutralization of bandits operating within their communities.

Kaura explained, “After Sani Black was killed in an ambush at Yar-Tasha village on Sunday, September 22, 2024, his lieutenant, Kachalla Makore, mobilized his men on Tuesday, September 24, to retrieve Black’s body and seek revenge for the attack.

“However, he was also ambushed and killed in Kunkeli village of Dansadau district in Maru. Black fell alongside eight of his closest lieutenants, while Makore was taken out along with 15 of his foot soldiers. Notably, Makore had previously burned an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) and injured two soldiers during an encounter with security forces in Kunkeli village.”
