Halima Dangote, daughter of Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote, has shared insights into her family’s private lifestyle, explaining that she and her siblings have never viewed themselves as spoilt despite growing up in a wealthy household.

The businesswoman disclosed that the family prefers to maintain a low profile, particularly when interacting with the children of their father’s friends.

According to reports, Halima said she and her siblings deliberately avoid drawing attention to their family background during social interactions.

“We are not spoilt. Unlike when we meet our father’s friends’ kids, we stay quiet and don’t say who we are,” she said.

Halima also reflected on the family’s experience with fame, noting that life was more comfortable before the Dangote family became widely recognised.

She explained that while some people enjoy the visibility that comes with social media, she and certain members of her family are less comfortable with public attention.

According to her, she and her siblings prefer to keep their personal lives private rather than expose themselves to constant public scrutiny.
