BREAKING: INEC Declares Winner Of Enugu Governorship Election
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Peter Mbah, has been declared the winner of the March 18 governorship election in Enugu State by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Mbah received 160,895 votes, slightly more than his closest competitors, including Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party (LP), who received 157,552 votes, and Uche Nnaji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who received 14,575 votes.
“That Mbah Peter Ndubuisi of the Peoples Democratic Party is hereby declared the winner and returned elected,” declared the Returning Officer, Prof Maduebibisi Ofo-Iwe, Vice Chancellor of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike.
