Cancer-Stricken Woman Appeals For Second Wife To Meet Husband’s Needs
According to Ireporter Online, a Nigerian mother of three, Kemisola Mustapha, has publicly appealed for a second wife for her husband, citing her ongoing battle with cancer as the reason for her inability to fully meet his marital needs.
Mustapha, a trader, shared her request in a video on social media, explaining that her illness, diagnosed in 2024, has significantly affected her physical well-being and her capacity to fulfill some aspects of her family and marital life. She emphasized that her decision is motivated by a desire to ensure her husband’s happiness despite her health challenges.
In the video, Mustapha disclosed that she has been searching for a suitable co-wife for over nine months. She outlined her expectations, emphasizing that she seeks a woman of good character—someone loving, faithful, and peaceful—who can care for both her husband and children. She also described her husband as supportive, noting that he has invested substantially in her medical treatment, even selling personal assets to cover her expenses.
“This request comes from the bottom of my heart,” she said. “I love my husband deeply, and he has always been there for me emotionally, financially, and physically. My illness has limited what I can provide for him, and I want him to be happy again. I am looking for a co-wife who will love my husband and family as much as I do.”
Mustapha further revealed that she had previously paused her search after being cautioned that a new wife might exploit her health condition. However, she stated that she has since resumed her search, insisting that the decision is driven by love rather than fear of death.
Although her husband initially hesitated about the arrangement, Mustapha said he eventually agreed after repeated discussions, formalizing the decision through a legal undertaking. She reiterated the qualities she is seeking in a prospective co-wife, including love, education, and a good family background.
