Everything To Know About Canada Immigration Level Plans For 2022 And Why Your RCIC Must Be Licensed And Of Good Standing {How To Apply}
The Canadian Government has announced its Immigration Levels Plan for 2022 through 2024.
The announcement was made on February 14th, 2022 by the Honorable Immigration Minister, Sean Fraser for the department of Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada.
This year the country would be targeting 432,000 new immigrants instead of its initial plan to welcome only 411,000. Canada offers so many wonderful plans for immigrants in relation to work, study, residency, etc amidst a high-quality standard of living.
Through the years Nigerians had been upbeat as regards moving to Canada and it has been a topic of discussion among a growing extensive variety of Nigerians.
As a result, greater Nigerian experts have sought to come to nations such as Canada in pursuit of economic opportunities.
Canada’s main focus is supporting economic resurgence post-pandemic by utilizing past successful immigration pathways such as Express Entry, the Provincial Nominee Program and the Temporary to Permanent Residence (TR2PR) stream which operated in 2021(TR2PR stream closed in Nov. 2021).
What the Numbers Actually Mean
Pertaining to 2022, 56% of new immigrants will pass through some version of the economic class pathways (Express Entry, Provincial Nominee & TR2PR) with PNP leading the way for the bulk of admissions acceptance.
Family Class (Spouses, Partners, Children and Parent/Grandparent reunification) will account for 24% of admissions targets in 2022. Lastly, 20% has been allocated for Refugee and Humanitarian Class which includes the remaining 32,000 already allotted spots for Afghan refugees.
Interested immigrants must be careful on how to apply, here are the benefits of using an RCIC.
