Fans Hail Kennyblaq As ‘Greatest Showman’ After Consecutive Onikan Sell-Outs

Lagos came alive last weekend as comedian and entertainer Kennyblaq achieved a remarkable milestone, selling out the Mobolaji Johnson Arena (formerly Onikan Stadium) for the second consecutive time with his widely acclaimed Reckless Musicomedy Festival. According to Ireporter Online, over 20,000 fans attended the event, highlighting Kennyblaq’s growing prominence as one of Nigeria’s leading live performers.

From the moment he took the stage, Kennyblaq captivated the audience with a high-energy performance that seamlessly blended comedy, music, sound effects, and interactive segments. The festival also featured strong support from Nigeria’s comedy scene, with performances from Destalker, Josh2Funny, Remote, Ajele, Larry J, SLK, Phronesis, MC Bob, and Shortcut, among others, keeping the audience in stitches throughout the night.

Music added an extra layer of excitement, with veteran DJ Jimmy Jatt, alongside DJs from the Maze x Mxtreme crew, DJ Smallz, and DJ Wayward, providing pulsating beats. Artistes including Nasboi, Akpororo, Segun Johnson, Bidemi Olaoba, African China, and Terry G also delivered memorable performances, while hype men such as Toby Shang, Do2dtun, Emmyblaq, Voltage of Hype, Whiteman Poco, and Slimcase elevated the energy in the arena even further.

The event was backed by sponsors FirstBank Nigeria, MiniMie, Nestlé Water, and Smirnoff Ice, with additional support from the Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency (LASAA). Production was managed by Unicmade Entertainment in collaboration with Mashbox.
