Ghana Election: You Are The Cause Of Nigeria’s Struggles, You Owe Nigerians An Apology – LP Criticizes INEC Chairman

(INEC), for praising the peaceful organization of Ghana’s presidential election. In a video shared on Sunday, Yakubu highlighted the lessons Nigerian politicians can learn from Ghana’s electoral process.

In response to Yakubu’s remarks, Labour Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, accused him of manipulating the 2023 presidential election to benefit President Bola Tinubu and demanded an apology to the Nigerian people.

Ifoh emphasized that instead of offering commentary, it is Yakubu who should take notes from Ghana’s electoral process. He pointed out that the recent Ghanaian election saw no incidents of ballot box snatching or technical issues.

Although the LP has moved forward from the events of 2023, Ifoh lamented, “It is unfortunate that the INEC Chairman is speaking now when he should be the one learning from Ghana. He is the reason for the hardships Nigerians are facing today. He owes Nigerians an apology. We did not hear about electoral violence, ballot box theft, or glitches in Ghana. The people’s voices were heard through their votes, and the Ghanaians are satisfied with the results.
