It is highly desirable and commendable that a day such as today is set aside to honour motherhood.

Apart from sustaining procreation in our world, motherhood is the fountain of love, peace, societal and family bonding.

Even in the face of societal turbulence caused by human errors and natural disasters, the weight, pains and setbacks emanating from such are largely carried by the feelings, deprivation and physical harm on our mothers.

As I continue to project a strong case for affordable healthcare, education, economic sustainability and other welfare improving packages for our mothers and children, today, I find it very expedient to specially wish our mothers, A happy mothers day
