Nigeria Unveils Starting XI For AFCON 2025 Group C Clash Against Uganda

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have confirmed their starting lineup for today’s crucial Group C match against Uganda, with Victor Osimhen named captain in a familiar 4-3-3 formation. Kick-off is scheduled for 5 p.m., and all eyes will be on Osimhen to spearhead the Nigerian attack.

Moses Simon will mark a significant milestone, earning his 91st international cap. The winger remains a key figure in Nigeria’s offensive setup and will be expected to challenge Uganda’s defence from the flanks.

A notable debutant in the lineup is Ryan Alebiosu, who will make his senior national team appearance. The young defender has impressed in training and is trusted to perform under the competitive conditions of the AFCON group stage.
