Abati’s comments, in which he claimed that the Igbo do not sell land to non-indigenes, sparked outrage in the South East, with many accusing him of ethnic bigotry. On Friday, Ejiofor took to his social media to recount a previous confrontation with Abati during a live interview, where he accused him of harboring a deep-seated hatred for the Igbo and their quest for freedom.
