Speed Darlington Claims Wealthy Women Cannot Truly Submit To Husbands

According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has expressed his views on wealth and marital dynamics, stating that women with substantial financial means cannot genuinely be submissive to their husbands. Speaking during a recent episode of ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast, Darlington emphasized that while wealthy women may feign submission to secure marriage, true submissiveness is unlikely.

He advised men to strive to be financially superior to their partners to prevent potential conflicts in relationships. The rapper added that he prefers women who are supportive and submissive rather than rich and independent.

“You cannot tell me that a woman who is worth multi-millions will be submissive to her husband. I don’t believe that. Power does not like to submit,” Darlington stated. He continued, “I am not very rich but I am proud of what I have. Now, imagine a wealthy woman with properties in Lagos and in the village; she definitely can’t be submissive. She might say it to get married, but deep down, she will not submit. There will be issues if your partner earns more than you. It is going to be a problem. Men should try to ensure they are wealthier than their wives. Otherwise, she may be aggressive and never submissive.”
