World Bank And IMPACT Team Up To Enhance 58 Primary Healthcare Centres In Nasarawa

IMPACT, in collaboration with the World Bank, has initiated the revitalisation of 58 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) across Nasarawa State to enhance healthcare access in all 13 local government areas. of IMPACT in Nasarawa, revealed that the facilities will be revitalised within six weeks, aiming to strengthen healthcare delivery through improved infrastructure and health worker training.

The initiative will empower PHCs to reach underserved communities through outreach and home visits, focusing on reducing maternal and infant mortality and combating malaria through immunisation and other interventions.

The state government, through the Primary Healthcare Development Agency, is actively supporting the initiative to ensure that health services are accessible and impactful across Nasarawa.
