Monaco, currently third in Ligue 1 and vying for silverware, believes Rashford could strengthen their attack as they head into the second half of the season, with a spot in the Champions League play-offs also within reach. Manager Adi Hutter, who took Monaco into the Champions League last season, is looking to reinforce his squad, with Mika Biereth of Sturm Graz already on the verge of joining the team. Monaco is exploring options for wide forwards, including Rashford.

Rashford has turned down lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, preferring to stay in a top-tier league with the aim of regaining his England spot under Thomas Tuchel. Monaco, with its tax-free status, offers a financial advantage that could make covering Rashford’s £300,000-a-week wages more feasible.
