In his acceptance speech, Oluwaloni expressed gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu and the Ayobo-Ipaja community for their trust. He pledged to build on the achievements of his predecessor, announcing plans to enhance healthcare services by providing an ambulance to the primary health center and to improve infrastructure by constructing new connecting roads within the LCDA.

The event was attended by key government officials, political leaders, and community stakeholders who expressed their commitment to supporting Oluwaloni’s administration.

In a related development, popular Nollywood actor and skit maker Debo Adedayo, known as Mr. Macaroni, criticized Governor Sanwo-Olu’s apology over the traffic congestion caused by repair work on the Independence Bridge.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, during a visit to the bridge, urged residents to be patient, explaining that the repair, aimed at preserving the safety of commuters, was necessary given the bridge’s age of over 80 years. He advised residents to conduct business online if possible to minimize disruption.

However, Mr. Macaroni took to social media to express his dissatisfaction, arguing that the government should have planned better to minimize the inconvenience. He pointed out that thorough planning, a clear timeline, and proper communication could have reduced the hardship faced by residents, suggesting that the situation reflects a lack of responsibility and effective leadership.
