Benin Recreation Club Holds Inter-Club Tournament With Ibadan Recreation Club, Open Talks For Affiliation

In a press statement released by the Public Relations Officer of the Club, Mr. Edoko Wilson Edoko, he said it has been one of the President’s campaign promises to get Benin Recreation Club affiliated with other Recreation Clubs across the country, In his words, “the job just started with our visit to IRC for the purpose of affiliation because we understand it’s benefits, we are very hopeful that this will herald another new phase for us a Club, Clubbing is all about recreating and networking too”, he added.

Also, the President commended the Chairman of the Committee on Club Affiliation to BRC and Captain of Tennis Section, Mr. Osa Odia and his committee members for organizing a very successful affiliation trip to Ibadan Recreation Club and he also eulogized our esteemed players for wonderful performances during the tournament.

“I would also want to appreciate distinguished Clubbers who made this move a huge success with their financial support, I pray God Almighty replenish your pockets and i also pray that when next there’s another opportunity to give, we can count on your unflinching support”, he enthused.

The Inter-club tournament with Ibadan Recreation Club had 21 players from Benin Recreation Club participating in several tournaments which includes: Tennis (Singles, Doubles, Veterans Categories), Table Tennis (Singles and Doubles Categories), Volleyball, Badminton, Swimming, Board and Cards, Snooker and Billard games
