Dismissing Claims of Party Weakness

Shettima dismissed concerns that the party had been weakened by the defection of its 2023 governorship candidate, Bala Gwagwarwa, to the APC, insisting that the party remains strong and united.

“The claims that Gwagwarwa left with the entire SDP structure are completely false. The party’s executives, including the Director-General of his campaign, remain with us.”
