Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized that the initiative demonstrates the state’s dedication to addressing the housing deficit while improving the welfare of law enforcement personnel. He highlighted the significance of the Ijeh Barracks redevelopment, noting it as a step toward providing modern, safe, and conducive living spaces for officers who serve and protect the state.

In his speech, Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, described the event as a milestone in the Nigeria Police Force’s journey toward modernization. He thanked the Lagos State government and stakeholders for their support in making the project a reality.

Sanwo-Olu also affirmed the government’s ongoing commitment to enhancing law enforcement capabilities, noting that the delivery of 260 vehicles would provide the necessary tools for security agencies to respond swiftly to challenges across the state.
