Nigerians Astonished As “Homeboy” Ize-Iyamu Rings In The New Year With Family And Friends At Historic Ancestral Home
In a delightful spectacle that left many Nigerians marveling, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, a prominent figure in the upcoming Edo election, ushered in the New Year with a celebration that resonated with simplicity and a unique touch.
On the auspicious day of New Year, the revered pastor, who oversees Edo RCCG Province Sixteen and commands respect as a seasoned politician, extended warm invitations to friends and associates. Together, they converged at the heart of his familial roots for an annual gathering, a cherished tradition that unites family and friends at the historic Egedege n’okaro, the First Storey Building in the Benin Kingdom, Erie.
Pastor Ize-Iyamu’s celebration was not just a testament to his political stature but also a vivid display of his unwavering connection to his roots. Known as the “Original Homeboy,” he stands as the sole candidate in the Edo gubernatorial race who has dedicated his entire life to Benin City, Edo State. This distinctive choice of celebration reflects a life characterized by humility, a deep respect for tradition, and an unwavering commitment to prioritizing family and friends in all endeavors.
Speaking at the gathering, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu passionately reiterated his transformative vision for Edo State – a vision that seeks to knit the diverse communities into one harmonious family. With resounding determination, he articulated his commitment to silencing the echoes of marginalization that may have lingered, emphasizing the need for effective governance that spans across the entire spectrum of the state.
In outlining his comprehensive plan, Pastor Ize-Iyamu pledged to extend the reach of governance from the Central region to the southern and northern parts of Edo State. His goal is clear – to ensure that every corner of the state experiences the positive impact of development and progress. By uniting the different regions under the umbrella of effective governance, he envisions a future where no one is left behind, fostering an inclusive and equitable path towards prosperity.
