Shock Twist! Ex-Labour Party Aspirant Defects, Clinches ADC Guber Ticket in Anambra

Nwosu, who previously sought the Labour Party (LP) ticket, withdrew from the LP primary citing irregularities and leadership issues within the party. Despite this, he was declared the winner of the LP primary and its candidate.

On Friday, Nwosu was officially declared the winner of the ADC primary election held in Awka, the capital of Anambra State.

After the primary, Nwosu reaffirmed his dedication to transforming Anambra through visionary leadership.

“Today marks a significant milestone in our mission to rescue Anambra. We will join forces with ADC and its coalition partners to build a strong opposition capable of unseating the current administration,” he said.

He expressed gratitude to party members for entrusting him with the ticket and called for unity to achieve their goals.

“Until recently, I belonged to another political party plagued by corruption, insincerity, and lack of transparency. Today, things have changed. While my vision and mission remain the same, my political platform has shifted for the better.

“I am proud to be part of the larger ADC family and thank the party for welcoming me warmly. There is much work ahead—let’s get to it,” he concluded.
