My dear Edo people!

I am delighted to re-engage with you after a brief interval. It is now clear that our collective goal of promoting a One Edo Agenda for the betterment of Edo people has been actualised. While I commend my brothers from Edo South and Edo North for supporting the One Edo Agenda, which supports the nomination of a candidate of Esan extraction, I also thank all political stakeholders for keeping faith.

In choosing which candidate to support, I drew from the principles that have guided my personal and professional life. Using this principle, my wife, an aviation expert, taught me that diversity and complementarity are essential for success. Just as pilots and co-pilots should not eat the same meal in case of food poisoning, I believe that our candidates should bring different strengths to the table.

In light of the current government’s attribution of the deplorable state of our roads to the federal government’s responsibility, I have come to realize that further inquiry into this matter would be futile. Instead, I will redirect my efforts towards the source of the solution, recognizing that the federal government holds the key to addressing this issue.

I intend to expand my focus to encompass the pressing needs of our education, healthcare, and transportation sectors, which also require urgent attention and reform. By prioritizing these critical areas, I aim to contribute to a more comprehensive and effective approach to addressing the challenges facing our state.

After careful consideration, therefore, I am convinced that supporting Senator Monday Okpebholo of the APC will best serve the interests of Edo people. While some may argue that this choice is imperfect, I believe that our collective goal of progress and development is more important than individual preferences.
