I Was Offered ₦500m And $200k For S3x” — BBNaija’s Cross Reveals
Former Big Brother Naija housemate Ikechukwu Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross, has claimed that he turned down offers of ₦500 million and $200,000 from men who allegedly wanted to have a sexual relationship with him.
Cross made the disclosure on X while defending fellow reality television star Whitemoney, who recently spoke about receiving an unsolicited message from a man who addressed him as “papi” and expressed romantic interest.
Reacting to the controversy, Cross argued that a man’s feminine mannerisms or appearance should not automatically be interpreted as an indication of his sexual orientation. He maintained that an individual’s personality, energy or mannerisms do not determine who they are attracted to.
The reality star also revealed that he had received substantial financial offers from men in the past but rejected them, saying his upbringing taught him not to be influenced by money or material possessions.
“You all should leave Whitemoney alone. A man can have feminine energy and still be 100% straight. I have been offered ₦500 million and $200k to sleep with a man, and I refused, along with many other offers,” Cross wrote.
He added that he supported Whitemoney’s decision to share the unsolicited direct message, questioning whether people would react similarly if he chose to publish messages received in his own inbox.
Cross further urged social media users to exercise caution when sending private messages, criticising individuals who make unwanted advances or send inappropriate content without considering the recipient’s boundaries.
His comments have generated discussions online about unsolicited advances, personal boundaries and assumptions about sexual orientation based on mannerisms or appearance.
