BBNaija: “I Had No Strategy Going Into The House” — Housemate Reveals

Big Brother Naija Season 11 ex-housemate Oluwaseyifunmi Sosanya, popularly known as Araga, has revealed that he entered the reality show without a predetermined strategy, insisting that his actions in the house reflected his true personality.

Araga became the ninth housemate to be evicted from the “Show Ya Sef” edition during the seventh live eviction show on September 13, 2026.

Speaking after his eviction, Araga addressed his reputation as the season’s “Resident Lover Boy”, explaining that his romantic personality was natural and not part of a calculated plan to gain attention or remain in the competition.

According to him, he simply remained true to himself throughout his time in the house.

“Honestly, no. Me as a lover boy, this is who I am. That was not a strategy. You can’t keep up a game plan for a long time. There was no game plan with Araga. Araga was just real, and I think I gave them my realness in the house,” he said.

Araga also spoke about the divisions that emerged among the housemates, particularly the apparent split between Team Sheba and Team Tram during the final week before his eviction.

He said he deliberately remained neutral because he did not consider himself confrontational and preferred to maintain peaceful relationships with the other contestants.

“For me, I was neutral because I don’t think I am the fighting person. I don’t think I’m the ‘let’s keep beef’ type. I was just neutral. Even though I don’t connect with you, I will still speak to you. There was just no beef,” Araga explained.

The former housemate said he was comfortable interacting with contestants from both sides of the divide, adding that he expected conflicts, alliances and other dramatic moments because of the nature of the reality show.

According to him, maintaining his peace of mind remained a priority throughout his stay in the house.

“I like my peace, honestly. My peace is my peace, and I pray for it every time. I don’t like stress, so if you are giving me stress, I’m looking the other way, and I’m walking out,” he said.

Araga also attributed his calm disposition to his personality outside the reality show, describing himself as a reserved person who enjoys spending time alone.

He explained that whenever he experiences mood swings, he often prefers to withdraw and give himself time to recover rather than rely on others to change his mood.

“It’s just who I am as a person because I’m actually level-headed outside the house; I’m very reserved. I really like to be by myself because I think being by myself makes me happy,” he said.

Araga added that some of his friends in the house understood his need for personal space whenever he was quiet or withdrawn.

He maintained that his reserved nature was simply part of his personality and not an indication of hostility towards other housemates.
