Ola Of Lagos: “People Judge Me Because I Didn’t Go To School
Nigerian content creator and businessman Ola of Lagos has spoken about being underestimated by some people because of his educational background and humble beginnings.
During an interview, Ola of Lagos was asked whether he had ever experienced being looked down on because of where he came from.
He acknowledged that such experiences had occurred but said they did not particularly bother him.
“Yes. It doesn’t really pain me but imagine people adding me to the Olodo Uprising list,” he said.
Ola of Lagos explained that some people tend to judge him based on the fact that he did not attend school, which he said had led some to perceive him as a “riffraff” despite the effort he puts into his appearance and public image.
“Because I didn’t go to school, they think I’m a riffraff, despite how I package myself,” he added.
His comments come amid discussions on the importance of formal education and the tendency to judge individuals based on their academic background.
The content creator has continued to build a public profile through his social media activities and business ventures, despite his stated lack of formal education.
