Lagos Ports Buzzing: 20 Vessels Ready To Dock, NPA Reports

In its “Daily Shipping Position,” the NPA disclosed that among the anticipated vessels, eight are slated to arrive carrying containers laden with various goods.

Furthermore, three vessels are expected to berth with shipments of petrol, while an additional three will transport bulk wheat. Another trio of vessels will dock with general cargo, and the remaining trio will deliver bulk clinker, bulk gas, and base oil.

Additionally, three vessels are currently in queue, awaiting berthing to discharge bulk salt, containers, and Single Bout Mooring (SBM) at AMPT, Apapa Bulk, and Greenview Development Nigeria Ltd. terminals in Lagos.

Meanwhile, a solitary vessel is poised to discharge bulk gas at the Lagos port.

The NPA also reported that 11 vessels are presently engaged in discharging petrol at various ports across Lagos, indicating a vibrant maritime activity in the region.
