Media Shake-Up: Morayo Afolabi-Brown Bids Farewell to TVC After Over a Decade

Well-known Nigerian television presenter, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, has officially stepped down from her role at TVC Communications, marking the end of a long-standing media career with the organization.

Confirmation of her resignation was made public on Tuesday in a formal statement issued by Edward Akintara, the company’s Public Relations Manager. According to the statement, her departure will take effect on August 29, 2025.

The company acknowledged Morayo’s impact and contributions, expressing appreciation for her years of service. Akintara noted that while she prepares to begin a new phase in her career, the company extends its best wishes, recognizing her legacy as a significant part of the station’s history.

Morayo Afolabi-Brown’s exit comes less than two years after she assumed the position of Managing Director of the TVC Entertainment channel, a promotion she received in November 2023. Prior to that appointment, she had spent a decade as the anchor of the popular television talk show, Your View, a role that solidified her influence in the Nigerian media space.
