Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has reportedly unfollowed his wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, on Instagram, amid fresh reports of tension between the couple.

According to Ireporter Online, the development occurred shortly after an alleged confrontation involving the pair at the grand opening of 90s Lounge in Abuja, an event organised to celebrate Faze, a member of the legendary Plantashun Boiz group.

A check of their Instagram accounts on Sunday morning reportedly showed that 2Baba was no longer following Natasha, while the lawmaker continued to follow the singer.

Despite the development, 2Baba was reportedly still following his former wife, Annie Idibia, despite their separation.

The reported social media development came hours after claims of a disagreement between 2Baba and Natasha at the Abuja event, where the singer had been scheduled to perform.

A senior member of 2Baba’s management team reportedly confirmed that a confrontation occurred at the venue but made a number of allegations concerning the circumstances surrounding Natasha’s arrival.

According to the management source, Natasha allegedly arrived at the event with several security personnel and other men, who the source claimed attempted to take 2Baba away from the venue.

The allegation reportedly triggered tension between Natasha’s group and members of the singer’s team before the situation escalated into a confrontation involving 2Baba.

The management team further claimed that 2Baba and Natasha had been living separately for more than two months, although the reason for their presence at the same event remained unclear.
