Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate Today, September 18, 2026: Latest Updates

The Nigerian naira recorded a slight change against the United States dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Thursday, September 17, 2026, while the currency continued to trade at a weaker rate in the parallel market.

According to reports, data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed that the naira exchanged at ₦1,331.2812 to one US dollar at the official market on Thursday.

The figure represents a marginal change from the ₦1,329.8568 recorded on Wednesday, indicating a difference in the official exchange rate.

Meanwhile, the naira closed at ₦1,394 per dollar at the parallel market, commonly known as the black market.

Exchange rates offered by commercial banks, Bureau de Change operators and other foreign exchange dealers may vary from the official reference rate due to transaction margins, market demand and supply conditions.
