D’banj, 9ice, Shina Peters Lead Star-Studded Lineup For Rewind Flashback Concert

According to Ireporter Online, veteran disc jockey Jimmy Jatt, in collaboration with media platform Yaw Naija TV, will host the highly anticipated ‘Rewind Flashback Concert’ on December 30, 2025, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.

Themed ‘The Legends Are Back,’ the concert aims to reunite some of the biggest names in Nigerian music whose hits defined the late 1990s and 2000s, an era widely regarded as pivotal in the country’s pop culture history.

Headlining the event are celebrated artistes D’banj, 9ice, and Juju music legend Shina Peters. Other performers scheduled to grace the stage include African China, Dr Sid, Cynthia Morgan, Bigiano, Black Reverendz, Style Plus, DJ Zeez, J Martins, Zulezoo, Inferno, Danfo Driver, Kas, Marvellous Benji, Ayangba, and Lexy Doo.

Industry observers note that the concert underscores a growing appreciation for catalogue music and legacy acts, reflecting the strong audience demand for live shows that celebrate familiar sounds and collective memories. With DJ Jimmy Jatt curating the set, the performances will span genres such as hip hop, Afrobeats, reggae, dancehall, and Juju, showcasing the rich diversity that has shaped Nigerian music over the years.
