An eyewitness, who spoke to Punch on the condition of anonymity, revealed that Salo is currently in critical condition at Perez Medcare Hospital in Lekki Phase 2. The source shared, “When I arrived at the hospital, I was not permitted to enter. The nurse told us to keep praying for him because his condition is dire. We don’t know who he might have upset, just as he may not know either. One must be careful; if he survives this, he should remain cautious.”

Lagos State Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident, stating, “Salo was indeed shot yesterday on Admiralty Way, Lekki. We have initiated an investigation into the matter and will provide further updates.”

Prior to the shooting, Salo reportedly had a dispute with fellow TikToker Tobi Nation regarding the purchase of a new apartment.
