In the conversation with VJ Adams, Ninalowo revealed that his 18-year-old daughter first asked if she could pierce her tongue, but he declined and suggested she consider another option. Later, she returned with a new request—to have her navel pierced.

Ninalowo explained that he agreed to the navel piercing as a way of bonding with her, noting that navel rings can easily be removed. Demonstrating his support, the actor personally drove Aliyah to the piercing studio and even covered the cost of the procedure.
