As Dr Tony Ezekiel arrived at the PDP Owan East Local Government Secretariat yesterday, shouts of “Senator in Waiting,” “Incoming,” “Abuja Direct,” and “My Senator to Be” filled the air. “When were the general elections held in which Dr Tony Ezekiel was pronounced the winner?” You might wonder as the joyous cries fill the air.

That was the situation in Owan East when Tony Ezekiel met with PDP leaders and delegates to discuss his senatorial ambitions. Tony was the center of attention as he came to the PDP LGA secretariat with a big entourage of party members, friends, and well-wishers.

The spectacular reception given to Dr Tony Ohifeme Ezekiel was incredible. Owan East leaders and party delegates welcomed the Senatorial aspirant with such reverence that it became emotional for both the campaign team and the party leaders and delegates.

The complete executive of Owan East Local Government  was present, and they were overjoyed to have Tony among them. They prayed for his success and pleaded with their counterparts in Etsako West, Etsako East, Etsako Central, and Akoko Edo to please enable Tony Ezekiel to represent the party in the upcoming primaries.

Owan East made a case for Tony considering the fact that he has the experience , the wherewithal and capacity to defeat the APC in the coming general elections.

According to the delegates no other aspirant possesses the requisite qualifications to take over the Senatorial district from the APC which they affirmed have failed the good people of Edo North.

Testimonies upon testimonies were rendered on Tony’s competence, integrity , benevolence and humanitarian activities, in nutshell the delegates and party stakeholders unanimously agreed that Tony was the best shot for them.

Dr Tony Ohifeme Ezekiel, the business mogul and Oxford product who has a hall named after him at the prestigious global institution, was received with great enthusiasm by Owan East, the community was totally agog.

Tony was told to take a Bow and Go as his antecedents has cleared the way for him, they claim it was time for celebrations as they are confident that Tony would not only emerge victorious in the primaries but would go ahead to rescue Edo North from the APC.
