I Have My Integrity” — Patience Ozokwor Reveals Presidential Candidate She Supports

Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwo, popularly known as Mama G, has declared her support for Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

According to reports, Ozokwo made her position known while speaking at an event organised under the banner of “Celebrities for Peter Obi.”

The actress used the occasion to express concerns about Nigeria’s abundant natural resources and the country’s inability, in her view, to fully translate those resources into improved living conditions for citizens.

Ozokwo also raised concerns about the disparity in wealth, noting that some Nigerians have accumulated substantial resources for themselves and several generations of their families, while many others continue to struggle with basic needs.

“I see this country as a spoiled child. There is nothing God did not provide for us. Other nations of the world, if they have one-quarter of what God has given to us, would be better than what they are today,” she said.

The actress further spoke about the influence of celebrities and the responsibility that comes with their public platforms.

“Celebrities here, what we have, we have our faces. We have our integrity. I have mine,” Ozokwo stated.

Her remarks come as political activities and public endorsements gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, with several public figures publicly stating their positions on the presidential race.
