Man Arrested for Allegedly Fatally Beating His 27-Year-Old Daughter In Lagos

The Lagos State Police have arrested a man accused of brutally beating his 27-year-old daughter to death.

According to Hundeyin, the tragic event took place on March 26 in the Ojo area of the state. “On April 3, at 8:00 a.m., a distress call was made to the Okokomaiko Division regarding the crime that occurred on March 26,” he stated.

After allegedly killing his daughter, the suspect reportedly buried her in a shallow grave on his property.

In response to the report, police dispatched a team of homicide and crime scene detectives to the location. “The shallow grave was located, and the body was exhumed, photographed, and transported to a public morgue for autopsy,” Hundeyin explained.

Currently, the suspect remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
