Minister of Defence, Muhammad Badaru, emphasized that the Special Forces will enhance Nigeria’s ability to neutralize threats. The training will focus on special combat tactics, counterterrorism, intelligence gathering, and hostage rescue.

President Bola Tinubu has been credited with supporting security reforms by providing modern equipment and prioritizing personnel welfare. Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna also reaffirmed his state’s commitment to backing the military’s efforts.
