Tension In Lagos Assembly As Suspended Clerk Forces His Way In

According to the Assembly’s Chief Security Officer, Mr. Kabir Kushoro, Onafeko, accompanied by unknown individuals, arrived at the premises on Wednesday, blocking the staff entrance with his vehicle before attempting to force entry into the Clerk’s office.

The Assembly emphasized that this act violated legislative protocols and security regulations, warning that necessary actions would be taken to maintain order. Meanwhile, the National Industrial Court in Lagos has issued an order reinstating Onafeko as Clerk while restraining the acting Clerk, Babatunde Ottun, from assuming the role.

Authorities have been alerted to prevent further security breaches.
