VIDEO: Hundreds Of Kwara Women In Tears Of Joy As Senator Saliu Mustapha Splashes Multi-Million Naira Tinubu Cash For SMEs

Over 300 small-scale business owners, artisans, and skilled workers across Kwara Central Senatorial District have benefited from a multi-million-naira empowerment scheme facilitated by the senator representing the district, Mallam Saliu Mustapha.

The initiative, popularly dubbed T-Cash (Tinubu Cash), was specially tailored to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with women entrepreneurs making up the bulk of the beneficiaries.

Implemented in partnership with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), the scheme aims to strengthen small businesses, create jobs, and foster economic independence among Senator Mustapha’s constituents.

Speaking at the distribution exercise, Senator Mustapha’s Director General for Ilorin East, Hon. Bashirat Kolawole, described the intervention as part of the senator’s deliberate effort to empower hardworking citizens. She emphasized that the grants were designed to uplift entrepreneurs, enabling them to expand their enterprises and attain self-reliance.

“This is another demonstration of Senator Mustapha’s consistency in promoting initiatives that encourage productivity rather than dependency,” she said.

Several beneficiaries, many of them moved to tears, expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Mustapha, noting that the empowerment would help them expand their ventures, support their families, and improve their standard of living.
