Royal Welcome! Iyabo Ojo’s Daughter Priscilla And Baby Shut Down Tanzania With Grand Reception

Media personality Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, and her newborn son, Rakeem Mkambala, were given a lavish reception in Tanzania by her husband, singer Juma Jux, following the birth of their first child.

According to Ireporter Online, the Tanzanian artiste welcomed his wife and son at the airport with fresh flowers and gifts before leading them home, where an elaborate celebration awaited. Their residence was adorned with a blue-themed décor featuring balloons, framed portraits, and a massive banner that read, “Welcome Home Mommy and Rakeem.” A large standee spelling out “RAKEEM” added a striking touch to the occasion.

The homecoming drew warm reactions from Iyabo Ojo, who joined the family at the event. Playfully teasing her son-in-law, she quipped: “Juma, you are so extra. What happened? Rakeem is already one month old.” To which Juma proudly responded: “My son. Yes. My first son.”

A visibly moved Priscilla gushed: “Oh my God, Papa Rakeem is extra,” while Iyabo Ojo later admired the gesture, describing it as “so beautiful.”

The heartwarming celebration comes after a setback for the family, as Juma Jux was denied a Canadian visa and could not attend his son’s birth in Canada. Baby Rakeem has since received his Canadian passport, officially confirming his citizenship.

Clips of the colorful homecoming, shared by the couple on Instagram, quickly went viral. Priscilla posted a simple photo captioned “Home,” while Juma uploaded a video featuring his son alongside Iyabo Ojo, capturing the family’s joy as they celebrated their newest addition.
