Funeral Service For Late Abisola Kola-Daisi, Daughter Of Former Oyo Governor Ajimobi, Held In Lagos

The funeral service for Abisola Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, who served as the Governor of Oyo State, took place on Thursday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Trinity Tower, located in Victoria Island, Lagos State.

Among the dignitaries present at the service was Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who shared photos from the event on X.com. He expressed his condolences, stating, “Today, I attended the funeral service of the late Abisola Kola-Daisi, née Ajimobi. Abisola’s warmth, generosity, and resilient spirit were an inspiration to many, and her absence will be profoundly felt. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. Also in attendance was Adebo Ogundoyin, the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly. He shared his respects on X.com, saying, “I paid my last respects today to Abisola Kola-Daisi, daughter of the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, at the RCCG City of David in Lagos. May her gentle soul rest in peace, and may God provide solace for her family, especially her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and their children during this painful period. Let us continue to embody the values of compassion and kindness that Abisola exemplified throughout her life. Rest in peace, Abisola.”

As per the family’s arrangements, a private burial will take place following the funeral service.

Reports indicate that Abisola passed away at the age of 44 on March 27, 2025, in London after a prolonged illness. She is survived by her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and their three children.
