Legendary Entrepreneur And Ibru Dynasty Pillar, Oskar Ibru, Is Dead

According to reports, Nigerian business magnate and Chairman of the Ibru Organisation, Olorogun Oskar Ibru, has passed away at the age of 67 after a brief illness.
A family source confirmed his death on Wednesday but declined to provide further details regarding the circumstances. His passing comes less than a decade after the death of the Ibru family patriarch, Olorogun Michael Ibru, who died in 2016. Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced soon.
Tributes have begun pouring in, with veteran journalist and Ovation International publisher, Dele Momodu, describing Ibru as “an extremely friendly gentleman and a socialite par excellence.” In a post shared via Instagram, Momodu recalled him as one of Nigeria’s most recognisable businessmen and the beloved son of the late industrial titan, Michael Ibru.
Oskar Ibru was a towering figure in Nigeria’s corporate sphere and a prominent heir of the influential Ibru dynasty. He played a crucial role in sustaining and expanding the family’s vast conglomerate, which spans sectors such as shipping, oil and gas, real estate, and commerce.
