See How Two-Storey Building Crashes Down In Lagos—Fears Of Trapped VictimsA two-storey building collapsed on Monday morning in the Orile Iganmu area of Lagos State, causing panic among residents who quickly fled the scene.

According to Naija News, a video circulating online shows people running for safety as the building crumbled. The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) confirmed that emergency responders had been dispatched to the site.

Nosa Okunbor, Head of the Public Affairs Unit at LASEMA, confirmed the development to SaharaReporters, stating, “People are there right now; I will get back to you.”

At the time of this report, no casualties had been confirmed.

In other news, a tragic accident on Sunday near the Second Rainbow Bus Stop along the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway claimed two lives. The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency responded to the multi-vehicle collision, involving a MAN truck, a Honda Accord, and two commercial buses. According to Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, LASEMA’s Permanent Secretary, the truck lost control due to mechanical failure, resulting in the fatal crash. Two male adults were declared dead, and several injured victims were treated on-site by emergency responders.
