According to Ireporter Online, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, has publicly criticized his colleagues for remaining silent amid the ongoing marital challenges faced by Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

In a statement shared on Instagram on Thursday, Rollas revealed that many in the industry are aware of Daniels’ struggles but have instead chosen to speak ill of her privately. He recounted instances on film sets where senior actors, including Okey Bakassi, Chinyere Wilfred, and Jide Kosoko, witnessed her behavior firsthand and recognized that she needed assistance.

Rollas also referenced a public moment during their son’s birthday celebration where Nwoko reportedly drew attention to Daniels’ health concerns, which he believes should have been handled privately. The AGN president further expressed disapproval of Daniels’ mother, Rita, pursuing leadership within the Guild while her daughter’s welfare remains a pressing concern.

Addressing allegations that Nwoko has been financially supporting the Guild, Rollas dismissed such claims and clarified that funds reportedly given to Daniels were intended for her personal projects, not AGN operations. He emphasized that the silence of industry stakeholders has left him vulnerable to unjust criticism and stressed the importance of seeking help for colleagues in need.

Rollas concluded by calling on all parties to prioritize the welfare of members and ensure the Guild remains a safe and supportive space, free from harmful narratives and unverified claims.
