According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has expressed distress over the escalating wave of killings and kidnappings across Nigeria, voicing her fears for the safety of families nationwide. In a recent post shared on her social media platform, the actress disclosed that although she occasionally contemplates leaving the country due to worsening insecurity, she feels compelled to remain because her family is still based in Nigeria.

“Even if I can leave, I have families here for God’s sake. This is my home. This is where I am from,” she wrote, stressing her emotional connection to the country despite rising tensions.

Her remarks follow fresh tragedies in Kwara and Kebbi States, where violent attacks have shaken communities and renewed concerns over national security. Within just 24 hours of gunmen storming a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, suspected armed groups struck another community, abducting four rice farmers in Bokungi Village, Edu Local Government Area.

Sources cited by Ireporter Online disclosed that the abduction occurred on Wednesday evening while the victims were harvesting rice on their farmlands. A community member confirmed the development, explaining that the attackers emerged unexpectedly and surrounded the farmers before taking them away.
